William J. Miller, Board Member
Bill Miller is currently the Principal of A2E, a healthcare IT consulting firm. Bill has held management positions in finance, strategic planning and IT across multiple industries including, construction, energy and healthcare. Bill has held executive/CIO positions in the IS function of a healthcare Integrated Delivery System(s) for over 15 years at ScripssHealth, Baptist Health System and ProHealthCare. Bill brings a focused perspective to aligning the IT assets of an enterprise with organizational vision and objectives. The experience that he has gained from building the "Virtual Healthcare Community" at ProHealth Care and being active in various National Healthcare Infrastructure Initiative (NHII) activities affords him a comprehensive perspective in systems planning and integration.
An active member of the College of Healthcare Management Executives (CHIME), he has been very involved with the CHIME LEAD initiative to promote better understanding of the NHII initiative and RHIO's among CIO's. He has presented nationally at two LEAD forums for CIO's from around the country. Recently, he contributed at the Center for Health Transformation Connectivity Conference in Washington, D.C. Bill graduated from the University of Kansas with a Masters in Business.
